Spring has sprung!

From this to this in less than a month.

The multitude of robins, the slight green showing through the brown grass, the crocus flowers blooming around the yards must mean one thing: spring is here! After winter's last gasp: 2 weeks of snow, ice, freezing fog and 7 days out of school it is a joyous thing to walk without hat, gloves or even a heavy coat. We almost broke a record high yesterday, it was 79 in the afternoon.

Mom and Dad left for Gaylord this morning about 8:20 or so. It has been a good time, even if Daddy was in the hospital for 4.5 days. He has been much more active since coming home. Uses his buggy several times a day and has checked out the eastside of the block from alley to alley. Mom has been walking in the morning with us when we do our lap of the reservoir, which is about a mile to and from.
